SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time Bound. When you break down your overall goal and fit it within these parameters, you will be much more successful. I failed to make my closet/dresser organizing goal fit into these categories. So, this is my new and improved goal for August:
I will clean out my sons' dressers of clothes that are too small and move them into bins by August 28 . This will be done in 4 half hour sessions (because any longer with a 3 and a 4 year old running around is NOT attainable or realistic!)
Goal setting isn't just for weight loss, financial planning or these big picture concepts! Use it in your day-to-day life and you'll find your mind will be less cluttered and you'll be reaching those goals before you know it! What are some goals you are setting for yourself this month? Comment below or post on my Facebook wall and I'll help keep you accountable! Let's finish the summer strong!
