The second time proved to be more successful than the first. And it was AMAZING at how quiet the room was while they worked! They were focused on the task. At the end of the second trial, we regrouped and reflected on the activity. Why was this important for us to do? What worked? What didn't work so well? Why? How is this activity related to our science classroom? I really feel the students took away so much more than just a fun, silly cup stacking activity. It taught them to work with one another even if they may not be the best of friends. This is a keeper year to year!!
